Design Notice

Ladies

I would just like to let you know that I will no longer be working with Creative Inkling, after an upsetting experience I have decided to no longer team with them, I look forward to the new challenges I will find and hope to be part of another design team now my schedule will permit. Thank you all for your continued support and I can't wait to post for you some of the things i've been creating and growing my skills with you all.

A few cards

So I have had a productive few days even tho I haven't been posting,

The first was another bulk amount of thank you's I made about 12 of these,

I also co-ordinated the inside and the envelope

And lastly, I mounted up my copic elephant, one of you maybe receiving this shortly :)

That's it for now

Stampscapes 2

So this is my first winter scene, I know what I did wrong so going to try it again with another color combo, I'd also like to try the background with airbrushing copics, I also stamped some of the branches at the top in white although it's hard to see in the picture,

Til later

Stampscapes

Yesterday I went to one of my favourite stores, De Pue's Rubber Stamps in Tannersville, I bought some stampscapes stamps, I never really had a "thing" for them before, but something yesterday caught my eye so I thought why not give them a go, so this is my first attempt, I am quite pleased with it, I can see a few errors in it, but not bad, I wish I had a few flying birds I think it would finish it off, I'd love to know what you think and if there are any experts out there i'd love your help!!

So this is the finished project,

It started like this but I thought it was too plain, but thought i'd take a pic in case I messed it up by adding too much,

I had so many little stamps, grasses, benches, tree's etc I stamped them all out on my stamp a ma jig sheet first so I could see what was going to fit best and where, there was ALOT of stamp a ma jig use on this whole project, and to think I thought it was a waste of money!!!

I also made this sheet whilst I was adding in colors I made this for my greens and another for my reds/yellows/oranges in the sunset, I found it to be really helpfull.

I'm going to play some more, I'd really like to try a winter scene with this

Playing With Copics

I recently got into copics, so I thought i'd share with you the few things I have done with them so far, the first thing I did was this snowman, he is an outlines stamp and was please for a first attempt,
I then moved onto one of the new Stampin Up! Images, home for Christmas, I also used some Spica's on this although its hard to see in the picture, I want to add some stickles or puffy paint to the tree to add some dimension

Finally I wanted a card for a friend so colored in this image which I really didn't know what do with, I will post the finished card when I have decided how to mount it

I have a few more posts for you this evening

Mums Brag Book

This is the final project for Creative Inkling, I'd love to know what you think, I made a "Mum's Brag Book" for Maddi's first brithday pictures

This is the first double page, I made a leaf to tuck in tags with journalling, and made te second picture into a leaf to add more jounalling

With there only being a few pages to the album I decided to make this into interactive pages

The next page I put a picture of the cake I made for her party, I wanted to add jounalling but had no room, so made another flap under the picture

This page has a clear leaf so I can see what pictures are in there

This is the back page, I used a transparency over the picture just to finish it off

I'd love to know what you think, I'd love to have kept this I was so pleased with it, I hoped they liked it

Hope you are all having a good weekend

Mum Can't you See I'm Watching

Christmas Acrylic Book and Maddi's Frame

Morning!!

Technical difficulties over!! I can finally show you what I have been working on, these projects are for the fabulous new store in La Haska, Creative Inkling, I would love to know what you all think, the first is a scrapbook frame, using their beautiful new fall papers, and going with the fashionable idea of using scrapbooking for home decor,

What do you think? I love the strong colors, I picked out the glittered leaves from the paper and raised some up with glossy accents, the words are stamped with black archival on the glass so they can be removed or changed.

This is an acrylic album with photo's of our first family christmas, I'm really pleased how this came out,

This is the whole book, put together, it was coloured with alcohol inks and copics, the front I left clear and just stamped the "have a merry little christmas" and used puff paint to give the effect of snow tipped branches

This the the page behind, I punched the pictures and tied ribbons through them to make them look like ornaments

The next page was covered with pearl alcohol inks, it had a lovely shimmer to it, I used an inkadinkadoo snowflake stamp to make it look like a garland

The journalling is on vanilla cardstock and I used the distraa inks and blening foam to age them

This page is done with copics, using them to create a background, you will notice the effect is lighter than using alcohol inks.

The final page has a little bit of the green but mostly the copper alcohol inks, I put the journalling that it shines through on the previous page too,

On the back I hung a charm, this was acrylic too, I used the pearl acrylic dauber to make him look snowy and wrote on it with a copic

What do you all think? These are my first two projects, I am working on a Mum's Brag Book with the Kaiser Tabbed range, I'm off for now my spellbinders win from the sneak peak should be here later, maybe I can get going with that too!!

Camera's Broken!!

I went to take my pictures and the batteries are dead and the memory stick is full!!! So I will raincheck til the morning!!

Til then
